The broad mention of “Appraisal Waiver” during a home purchase can mean two different things.

Are you trying to get the attention of a seller by waiving your appraisal or did your lender tell you that they received an appraisal waiver from the system? These are two very different things and you could get caught in a very bad situation if you don’t understand the difference between the two.
